Member's competitions are held on Wednesdays & Saturdays, and affiliated visitors with an official handicap are welcome to enter.

"Chicken Run" competitions are held over 9 holes every Friday afternoon.

Pensioner's competitions takes place on Mondays and Fridays. Tee off is 8 a.m. in summer and 8:30 a.m. in winter. Visitors are welcome.

Tight fairways and a couple of small greens, with a natural slope towards the sea, ensure that players have to carefully consider every shot.

During the early summer months, the south-Easter can provide a refreshing challenge, which has led to many robust recovery sessions on the 19th.

The golf club was established in 1916, with the course itself being even older, which lies on the site of a former Boer War POW camp.
